It was trip and we would like to go back here again. Enjoyed to be here, the hotel was clean and relaxing, the location was great in the restaurant The staff will take such good care of you. Location: the venue was near to the beach for `` jumping '' on tourists for offering anything for sale and the north east of the island.

I had a wonderful stay at a small boutique hotel right on the beach. the owners, Jan and Salome, were welcoming and attentive to every detail. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the service exceeded my expectations. the hotel had a beautiful pool and clean, spacious rooms with all the necessary amenities. the highlight for me was the delicious food, with a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Zanzibar Retreat provided a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and I highly recommend it. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way. 😊.

The white powdery coral sand was perfect for our epic bike rides and relaxing walks. We also had a blast swimming when it wasn't low tide. The Tamani Learning Centre next door was so cool, we even took a guided walk in the village with Zanrec. And let's not forget the massages and the epic tours we booked at the tour desk. This place has it all for young, adventure-loving peeps like us!
Only thing we could ask for is a little more party action for us young party animals. A fun nightclub or some DJ beats by the pool would have taken our stay to the next level.

Awesome scenery, delicious food with a mix of flavors, and a lovely beach for walks and swimming. Also had the privilege of seeing local kids show off their talents.
Spend hours waiting for food while the owner blissfully smoked his cigarettes and did paperwork. Waste of time!

Looking for the perfect relaxing getaway? Look no further! This serene beachside accommodation provides a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Wake up to the sound of waves lapping at the shore and enjoy a delicious breakfast a la carte. Take a dip in the spacious swimming pool or head to the beautiful beach for some snorkeling or scuba diving. The rooms are lovely and feature comfortable beds, pristine bathrooms, and picturesque views. Lounge in the sun or unwind in the shade of swaying palm trees.
It would be great to have a more developed area nearby, but that’s just a minor inconvenience.

My husband and I recently stayed at Zanzibar Retreat for a week and it was absolutely incredible. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were beautifully decorated with Zanzibar hardwood furniture, and the pool was clean and inviting. The location was perfect, with the beach just a minute away and the hotel grounds feeling private and secluded. The food was the best we had during our travels, with great vegetarian options available. There were also little touches that made the stay extra special, like complimentary afternoon tea and hammocks in the mangroves. We can't wait to go back!
Would highly recommend this hotel.
